Painted in 1881 by Albert Bierstadt, “Geysers in Yellowstone” gives a glimpse of what Yellowstone was like at the end of the 19^th century. Although many parts are unchanged, this print helps to visualize what Yellowstone National Park was like without any aerial tours flying overhead, no buildings and giftshops in the distance, no paved or marked walkways telling you where to walk, no roads, and no traffic.
